Dr Bogdan Dimitrov

Dr Dimitrov is one of the leading implantology trainers in Bulgaria for Alpha-Bio's dental implant systems. He is the founder of Bodent clinic and a lead implantologist.

He has some of the highest accolades possible in the field and has been recognised numerous times over his practice, putting him firmly at the top of his game.

In 2001 he received the award 'Young Prosperous Dentist' from the Association of Bulgarian Dentists (ABD).

Later, in 2011, he was the winner in the category 'Dental Clinic Manager' awarded by the Bulgarian Association of Dental Managers (ADMB).

In 2016, Dr Dimitrov was awarded the prize 'Dentist of Burgas' by the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA) for his achievements.

In 2017, after a series of training courses in Israel, Dr Dimitrov and his team were certified to carry implantology training and masterclasses by Alpha-Bio Tec.

He is an active participant while planning and managing several scientific congresses, discussions and round tables with local and international dental stakeholders.

Dr Dimitrov is a respected member and a Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA).

Education and training

Dr Dimitrov graduated in 1998 from the Medical University of Sofia. Since then, he has been specialising in the field of implantology and oral surgery.

Dr Dimitrov believes in lifelong learning as he always strives to deliver the very best treatment to his patients in the areas he practices. He regularly attends conferences and courses to remain at the cutting edge of his profession.

Recently, in 2020, Dr Dimitrov completed a 6-month qualification program in periodontal surgery and implantology at the University of Genoa in Italy.
