Dr Ivelin Atanasov

The talented Dr Atanasov produces some of the best porcelain and composite veneers we've ever seen and highly aesthetic restorations with ceramic crowns on implants.

In addition to ceramic restorations, he specializes in composites, including luminaires, inlays, onlays and dental bonding.

Dr Atanasov spends a great deal of his time at Bodent treating veneers' patients while consulting for dentures and other restorative work such as anterior tooth fillings when patients have tooth decay on their front teeth.

In 2006, he was nominated 'Dentist of the Year' by the Association of Bulgarian Dentists (ABD) and won second place.

Dr Atanasov is a valued member of the Bulgarian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA). In 2009 he was the author and editor of the prestigious dental publication Dental Tribune.

Education and training

Dr Atanasov graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University in Sofia in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he specialises as an emergency dentist, gaining valuable and extensive experience.

From 2000 to 2011, Dr Atanasov specialises in Varna, mainly in endodontics, mastering the essential stage of teeth preparation for prosthetic restoration. Since 2005, he has dedicated most of his time and energy to esthetic restoration with porcelain veneers and crowns.

Dr Atanasov is consistently developing new techniques and spends a lot of his time researching for the benefit of his patients and attending numerous courses, seminars and workshops by leading dental specialists.

Fluent in English, Russian and German, Dr Atanasov specialised in Düsseldorf, Germany, before joining the Bodent team in 2012.
