Overview
Explore Plovdiv: everything from millennia-old ruins, history, culture and crafts to invigorating nightlife, galleries and museums
A European Capital of Culture 2019 and UNESCO World Heritage Center, Plovdiv is Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city, straddling seven hills just like Rome.
Its ancient romantic town packed with winding cobbled streets, colourful 19th-century house-museums, guesthouses, and Roman, Thracian, Persian and Ottoman traces will bask anyone in a fascinating atmosphere.
Music and art festivals enjoyed at the Roman amphitheatre while sitting on ancient marble seats draw people from anywhere in the world.
Kapana quarter, the city's creative heart, offers a unique place to enjoy a contemporary art scene, galleries, shops, shady cafes and restaurants with history and tradition.
And as if Plovdiv is not enough, spectacular mountains, glacial lakes, ski and snowboarding centres, quiet winemaking villages, sandstone pyramids and spiritual places snooze in the surroundings awaiting to be discovered.

The Dentaround difference
As required by law, all transactions and obligations related to dental tourism are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health. Our partnering clinics are accredited by the Ministry of Health, adhering to the national standards of quality and hygiene.
A consultation at the clinic is necessary before your treatment commences. The one-to-one assessment is free of charge if you decide to proceed with the treatment. Your dentist will inform you of your options, confirm the preliminary plan cost estimates, time scales, healing time and the number of visits.
Many people prefer flying for the consultation and move with the treatment on the same visit (five to eight working days). Alternatively, you can return at a later date to start your treatment.
