Dr Martin Trifonov

Dr Martin Trifonov is one of the top implantologists at Dental Center Mig Dent and Bulgaria.

Holding two Master's degrees in Medicine, his ultimate mission is to offer world-class dentistry while keeping patient care at the centre of it all.

After graduating in dentistry from the Medical University of Plovdiv, Dr Trifonov immediately immersed himself in courses in implantology by some of the world’s dental leaders in Israel, Hong Kong, Portugal, Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria.

For more than 14 years, Dr Trifonov has been a consultant, mentor and leader of training and masterclasses with the Alpha-Bio Tec implantology system.

Dr Trifonov is a valued member of the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA), the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Bulgarian Association of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).

His passion to advance as a dentist led him to pursue a postgraduate speciality in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Medical University of Sofia.

Today, he is a Chief Assistant in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of Plovdiv, with more than 20 scientific publications and contributions to international and national congresses.

Education and Background

After completing a Master's in General Medicine at the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1994, Dr Trifonov accomplished a second Master's in Dental Medicine.

Eager to grow, in 2000, he defended his speciality in Oral Surgery at the Medical University of Sofia and later, in 2010, in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr Trifonov has more than 17 years of extensive experience at the St. George University Hospital for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Also, he practices in the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases at the University Hospital Pulmed in Plovdiv.
