Overview
A dental implant is an artificial root or root of a tooth made of titanium – a durable, lightweight, bio-adaptable metal that the body doesn't reject.
Dental implants are inserted into the bone surgically, just like tooth roots. They are used to hold crowns, bridgework, or dentures in several ways.
While designed to replace your entire tooth, the dental implant supports the placement of a crown, optimizing health, function and esthetics.
Charming, natural-looking teeth make you feel better, improving your appearance, speech, self-esteem and confidence. With good care, implant-retained crowns can last a lifetime.
Problem
- You’ve lost a tooth due to infection, failed treatment, tooth decay, or gum disease
- You had an accidental tooth loss from a sports injury or trauma
Solution
- A dental implant with a crown as a natural and functionally stable tooth replacement
Advantages
- Prevents bone loss
- Preserves adjacent teeth
- Improves appearance, comfort and quality of life
- No need to wear a loose, uncomfortable denture
What to expectDepending on your case and treatment plan, your dental specialist will complete some of the steps within the same visit. More often, this treatment involves two appointments
If you need bone grafting, the bone will require a healing period of three months to a year before it’s ready to support the implant. The condition of your jawbone will determine the number of visits and next steps.

As required by law, all transactions and obligations related to dental tourism are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health. Our partnering clinics are accredited by the Ministry of Health, adhering to the national standards of quality and hygiene.
A consultation at the clinic is necessary before your treatment commences. The one-to-one assessment is free of charge if you decide to proceed with the treatment. Your dentist will inform you of your options, confirm the preliminary plan cost estimates, time scales, healing time and the number of visits.
Many people prefer flying for the consultation and move with the treatment on the same visit (five to eight working days). Alternatively, you can return at a later date to start your treatment.
